Frequently Asked Questions

What are the displayed payments for HDD Broker's listings based off of?

The payments displayed on the website are based on applicants having good credit and time in business. Specifically, those payments are based on approved Tier 1 credit, a 675 + FICO score, and over 2 years time in business. The actual payment you will qualify for depends on numerous factors, so filling out the application is the best way to get an accurate number for you and your company.

What is the process to obtain financing?

Start by filling out the online application. It's fast, easy, and requires just basic information. Shortly thereafter, one of our financing specialists will reach out to you to review your information. From there, the application goes directly into underwriting for approval. Our financing team will call you once an approval is achieved to let you know how much you are approved for and the terms.

What sort of information will be asked for on the application?

The application will ask for basic information about your business and business owner(s). We'll need your name, address, phone number, EIN and how long you've been in business. There are no hard credit pulls when submitting the application. This means our queries will not effect your credit score as our finance team only uses soft pulls, which do not show up on your credit history.

How long will it take for me to get financed?

Most of our approvals can happen as quickly as only a few hours, though that can differ depending on your specific circumstances. Once approved, we will typically offer you several terms to choose from. As soon as you make that decision, our team will work to send you the documents to sign, which can be done remotely. After signing the documents you will be asked to provide your insurance agent's information. Once those requirements are fulfilled, we fund the transaction to the vendor you're purchasing the equipment from. The quicker you sign, the sooner we can fund the transaction and get you your equipment.

I know that I'm going to have other costs associated with purchasing this equipment. Can I finance other costs not specifically pertaining to the equipment itself?

Yes! You can add other expenses pertaining to your purchase that add up to as much as 20% of the equipment value. These are referred to as "soft costs" and can include things like extended warranty, freight, taxes and installation.

I am a new company startup. Can I still get financing?

Yes, absolutely! We help dozens of start up customers each month get financing for their new ventures. We offer programs that can get you financing for up to $200,000 as a start-up. Pricing varies based on home ownership and industry experience but it's always best to apply and speak to one of our financing specialists to let you know your options.

Can you finance companies located outside the United States?

At this time, we are primarily able to provide financing only to companies based in the USA. For a companies located in Canada with exceptionally strong finances, an exception may be made, but as a rule, buyers need to be located in the United States.
